Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 monthly
Job Overview
The Field Officer will oversee on-ground agricultural operations, monitor supply activities, manage challenges, and ensure smooth communication between the field and headquarters. This role requires initiative, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills, especially in dynamic field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day agro field operations independently
- Anticipate and respond to challenges such as weather changes, supply shortages, and quality issues
- Develop and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements
- Report critical field issues promptly with actionable solutions
- Provide daily and weekly reports on field activities
- Update management on product availability, quality, and market conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and operations
- Ensure consistent communication with headquarters and respond promptly to urgent requests
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: OND in Agriculture or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in agro operations or field-based roles
- Strong ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Proven experience handling field challenges and operational decision-making
